SE QUEENSLAND COASTAL REVAMP AND LANDCLASS FOR FS2004 UPDATE

Description:

Changes in this update include new roads that no longer sprout power poles that run for miles & cross airports & runways thanks to a great little utility by Edgar Knobloch that eliminates these. Also flatten switches for the lakes & waterways plus a couple of additions within the scenery to help with VFR flight. To install follow directions in each zip. If you have my previous scenery installed delete all previous files & replace with these new ones.

This package is an update to the previous release early last month & contains 3 zip files covering:

Revamped coast, rivers & roads for the coastal strip of Queensland from just south of Tweed Heads to Noosa in the north & west to Toowoomba.

Landclass which is an upgrade of previously posted scenery & actually extends to North Queensland to Cooktown.

Lake Samsonvale.

Each has a read me file describing the installation procedure.

Mal Lloyd's Pine Rivers Scenery

I have included a zip file called Lake Samsonvale which is part of Mal Lloyd's Pine Rivers scenery which he has graciously allowed me to include with this package. These lakes are excellent & although his Pine River was also I had considerable difficulty in being able to match up what I was doing with with what he had already don. So if you have Mal's Pine Rivers Scenery you will either have to rename the "Pine Rivers" files extensions or delete his scenery & install the files I have supplied as per the read me file in the zip. Otherwise the two will clash & look pretty odd.

Bridges:
At present I have used default FS bridges in the CBD & Gateway. There is scenery underway by other authors covering this & when available I will adapt my scenery to suit.

Acknowledgements:
This package would not have been possible without these three following gentlemen:

Christian Fumey for his absolutely brilliant program Ground2K4, Russell Dirk for his brilliant program EZ-Landclass which made this part of the scenery simple & quick to produce & Edgar Knobloch for his chptconv program that solves the unwanted autogen poles problem.

Feedback & Problems:

If you have any comments, or are having problems with the scenery, you can email me;

I hope you find this an improvement over the default scenery.
